XPANCEO Welcomes Future Innovators: KIBERone Students Visit the Laboratory

XPANCEO welcomed students from International School KIBERone for an exclusive preview of its groundbreaking technology. The company, known for developing the smart contact lens, a device that merges all existing devices into one, recently showcased several prototypes that aim to transform the way we interact with the real and digital worlds. Eleven students, between the ages of 13 to 16, had a firsthand look at XPANCEO's latest innovations and engaged with the minds shaping the future of technology.

The centerpiece of the visit was an engaging showcase of the smart contact lens technology at XPANCEO's hub of innovation. Participants witnessed the wonders of augmented reality via a holographic lens and explored several pioneering lens prototypes. These included the world's slimmest electronic integration featuring a single-pixel display, health-monitoring biosensor lenses, and advanced lenses designed with nanoparticles for enhanced night vision and adaptive zoom capabilities.

Dr. Valentin S. Volkov, XPANCEO co-founder and a nanophotonics expert, led the educational tour, engaging with the students about the groundbreaking technologies and fielding their questions. The visit allowed for interactive discussions with the innovators at XPANCEO, who shared insights into their pioneering work. This experience highlighted XPANCEO's dedication to advancing computing technology, making a profound impact on the visiting students.

Roman Axelrod, XPANCEO’s founder, emphasized the critical role of education in nurturing a culture of innovation. “The future of the MENA region rests with our youth, making it crucial to inspire them and open doors to technological exploration. Through engaging Kiber One students, we aim to spark innovation and deepen their understanding of how technology can address the region's unique challenges, underscoring our commitment to advancing the region's technological landscape,” said Axelrod.

Additionally, this visit was a part of a larger educational program that included tours of other top tech entities like Google, TikTok, Yandex, and Aya University.
